PROJECT OVERVIEW
Built in 1980, Sandpiper at the California Club Condo is located in the Miami Gardens/Ives Estates submarket in Miami, Florida. The HOA contacted Brightology Lighting with a goal of increasing the lighting levels in the parking and common areas while keeping their budget in mind. CHALLENGES/RISKS
- High energy consumption with low lighting output fluorescent bulbs
- Waste of budget dollars by constant change of burnt out bulbs
- Risk of accidents causing property damage increasing liability
- Risk of theft due to the many dark areas throughout the community
- High risk to the safety of pedestrians
- Successfully lowered the wattage consumption by more than half, from 250 watt fluorescent to 100 watt LED post top fixtures
- Increased driving visibility by increasing the lumen output
- Lowered risk of theft, slip and fall accidents and damage to property
- Added thirteen 100 watt wall packs to cover any additional dark areas throughout the community
- Successfully kept the total project on budget from beginning to end!
