PROJECT OVERVIEW
Founded in 1985, Temple Bat Yam (TBY) of East Fort Lauderdale is a warm and welcoming Reform congregation dedicated to exploring and embracing Jewish heritage from a liberal perspective. TBY has grown into a spirited close-knit community of about 300 families that is rooted in tradition and focused on the present and future of Judaism. Remodeled in 2019 by Barr Architecture, Brightology Lighting supplied the entire energy efficient lighting package.
CHALLENGES
- Old inefficient lighting in need of an upgrade
- High wattage used resulting in increasing energy costs
- Outdated exit signage
- Brightology Lighting removed old non-energy efficient lighting fixtures and replaced with modern LED lighting panels
- Lowered wattage from 128 watts per fixture to only 40 watts per fixture
- Removed old outdated exit signs with new LED exit signs
- Updated all the covers on the existing troffer lighting
