Management has trusted Brightology Lighting multiple times at different locations and was in need of an LED lighting upgrade for this property in Weston, FL.
CHALLENGES
- High energy consumption from 49 light poles using 400 watt metal halide bulbs
- Constant changing of bulbs and ballast burning out wasting precious budget dollars
- Insufficient amount of lumens in parking and shopping areas
- Metal halide bulbs lose 70% of lumen output over their lifetime with approximately 30% in the first 1,000 hours alone
- High liability for property damage, accidents and slip & falls
- Brightology lighting reduced overall energy use: Total shopping center wattage was reduced by more than 50%! From 19,600 watts to 7,350 watts
- We provided our client with a long lifespan: all products used have a 50,000 hour minimum lifespan, which means less time and money spent on changing burnt out bulbs or ballasts
- We provided a 5 year product & 1 year installation warranty
- We increased lumen output from approximately 16,000 lumens using 400 watt metal halide to 21,000 using a 150 watt LED shoebox fixture
